Dance Vida takes great care in handling personal information to protect your privacy.

The new data protection legislation, which will enter into force on 25 May 2018, aims, among other things, to strengthen individuals' rights to their own data.
Therefore, you have the right to know what we do with your information, for what purposes we process your data, how long we keep it and who has access to it.
Dance Vida takes great care in handling personal information to protect your privacy. The personal information provided is processed in accordance with applicable legislation or other regulations and in accordance with our internal guidelines, policies and procedures for handling personal data.
Personal information is usually obtained directly from you as a participant when you register for our events and classes.
What data do we collect?
When you contact us via our website, telephone or in person, we process your name, address, social security number (if applicable), postal address, email address and telephone number.
Dance Vida also collects technical data about the devices you use to visit our website, including IP address or other log information. For example, we collect your personal information via forms on our website when you fill in your details to register for classes or workshops.
For what purposes is the personal data processed?
The personal data collected in connection with your use of our services will be processed by Dance Vida.
We use your personal information to send you information, notifications and confirmations about the classes you register for, as well as any changes or cancellations. We also send newsletters about events, workshops and classes.
We may use your information to contact you for administrative and informational purposes. We may send you direct marketing communications, including updates on promotions and events, related to products and services offered by us or by third parties we work with. If you are or have been one of our students, we will only send direct marketing with your consent or as required by applicable law. You can unsubscribe or withdraw your consent at any time.
Your rights regarding the information collected
You can request to update or delete your information by sending us an email. In accordance with applicable law, you have the right to request access to and receive information about the data we hold about you, to update or correct inaccuracies, and to have the information blocked, deleted or removed if necessary. If you receive a newsletter from us, you have the option to unsubscribe and delete your email details directly in the email or by sending us a request.
If you receive commercial emails or text messages from us, you can unsubscribe at any time by following the instructions in the message. You can also choose to unsubscribe by sending a request by email to

Children's integrity
Dance Vida's dance classes and events are not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18 without obtaining parental consent.
Our classes and events are for adults only. If younger people attend, parental involvement is required.
Data security
We use physical, organisational and technical security measures to improve the integrity and security of the information we collect and store. Only we have access to this information. Please note, however, that no security measures are completely infallible, and we cannot guarantee that your information will never be accessed, viewed, disclosed, altered or destroyed in the event of a security breach.
Storage of your information
We retain your information to provide our services or in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. We aim to retain your information only for as long as necessary to fulfil our obligations under this policy, unless otherwise required or permitted by law.
How long do we keep your data?
We keep your personal data (emails) for as long as it is necessary to fulfil the purpose of the processing. This means that some data will be kept for a longer period of time, for example to be able to send you newsletters about our classes and events even if you no longer attend our courses.
To delete your data, you can send us a request or unsubscribe yourself via the link in our emails.
Changes and updates to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make changes, we will post the updated version on the Dance Vida website and services and indicate the date of the most recent change. We will take reasonable steps to notify you of the changes. To the extent permitted by law, your continued use of Dance Vida and its Services following the changes will mean that you have read, understood and accepted the current version of this Policy.
